- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★The Warrumbungle Park is very well managed and the facilities at the campground are properly maintained. There are no street lightings so on a clear night you are guaranteed an excellent view of the Milky Way and millions of stars shining in the sky above. Kangaroos and a variety of birds are common sights here. Hot showers are available for a limit of 5min. There's a drinking water tank to fill up your kettle or pot but make sure you boil it before consumption. There are three campgrounds here. #1 is for tents. #2 is for tents and caravans with some powered sites along the creek. #3 is separated with #1 by a causeway and has powered sites for tents and trailers.
